About

If you’re reading this blog you probably already know me, but just in case you don’t, or you’ve forgotten…

My name is Kate, I’m 30 and I’m from England. At the start of 2015 I moved to South Africa to train as a field guide and now work on a game reserve for a wildlife research project – achieving a lifelong dream to work with wildlife. I’ve kept this blog since coming out here as a record of the awesome things I get to see in my job.

You can read more about the course I did here.

If you want to get in touch you can leave a comment anywhere on this site, or e-mail me.

  3. Awesome journey you are on Katie! If you are interested in volunteering more in Africa with the same endangered and vulnerable species, I can highly, highly recommend an organisation called Wildlife ACT. They changed my life. Check out their website & Facebook page.
